Alistair Bevington

Best known for his stained glass creations, often made in collaboration with wife Mariette, Alistair Bevington also worked as a sculptor, often integrating stained glass into his sculptures. Bevington was trained as an architect at Cambridge and practiced architecture upon moving to the United States. His contribution to RIT’s campus, the sundial in the dormitory courtyard, was installed when the current campus opened in 1968.
