Henry Golden Dearth
1864 –1918As a landscape painter, Henry Dearth captured the luminous qualities and mood of Long Island (circa 1890’s) and especially the French coast of Normandy.
His early art training was with Horace Johnson and later he studied in Paris at the L’Ecole des Beaux Arts and with Aime Morot. His studio in New York city was established in 1887.
