Jose de Rivera

Sculptor Jose de Rivera’s imprint on the RIT campus is immediately noticeable – he created the “Infinity” sculpture in the main academic quad (more correctly known as “Construction #105”), which was installed when the Henrietta campus opened in 1968. de Rivera often incorporated the Mobius strip motif in his work -– another well-known Infinity stands on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Much of his work is on display in public spaces.
